How I charge
Fixed price or hourly.
It depends on your requirements and budget. A clearly defined project can have a fixed price; ongoing or open-ended work suits an hourly rate. We agree on the approach before work starts.
How a project runs
From your designs to a live website.
- Understand the requirements. I go through your designs and requirements with you, so the brief is clear before anything is built.
- Plan the build. I work out how the site will be put together: custom post types, ACF fields, custom blocks and anything else it needs.
- Develop on a staging site. The website is built on a private staging copy, away from your live site.
- Review and approve. You check the staging site and ask for changes until you are happy with it.
- Go live. Once you approve it, I launch the website.
After launch
A website you can run yourself.
I set up the admin around the way you will update the site and show you how it works, so most clients manage their own content after launch. If you need more, I offer ongoing maintenance and support.

Can you work from our designs?
Yes. Most projects start from a client’s or agency’s designs. I go through them with you first, so the plan matches what you need.
Can you work on our existing WordPress website?
Yes. As well as new builds, I fix problems, improve existing sites and add new features.
Will we be able to update the website ourselves?
Yes. I build the admin so your team can edit content without help, and I show you how it works before handover.
How do we keep in touch during the project?
Whichever suits you: email, Skype, Upwork or another tool your team already uses.
Who will we be working with?
With me. HSR Technologies is my company, so whether you hire me directly or through HSR, in most cases I am the developer on your project.
